Our GPS trackers can be configured with sleep time which is used rarely among our customers. If you set your tracker to sleep this is what will happen:
- When a movement occurs the device will wake up and will send a alert / push notification, if configured, to your phone.
- The alert / push notification and mobile app asks you to respond within 5 minutes if you want to actively track. If you do not respond the device will go to sleep the set time.
- After the sleep time the device will again be active to monitor for movements.
Sleep time is helpful if you are running only on internal battery and want to extend the battery life. But the negative side is that you always have to respond if you want to track or not.
Therefore we configure all trackers default with never to sleep which means you don't have to get a message and proactively choose to track.

This is how an alert will look like if you have sleep time configured. The red arrow shows where you need to select if you want to actively track the device.
